- HOW TO USE - Sugar Maple spirals can be snapped into smaller lengths as needed. Place the oak infusion spiral directly into your beer or wine. The maple flavor in charred maple spirals is fully extracted in 6 weeks. You can remove the maple from the fermenter earlier for milder oak contribution and flavor. 1 small spiral treats 1 gallon and 1 large spiral treats 3 gallons.
